reading the match report sounds like he didnt have a bad game and at least had a few chances but the report said he looked short on confidence hopefully a few goals in pre season will change that

What worries me though John, he is an International striker and he cannot score against opponents like we have already played this pre-season, what League are Bury Town in?

We only have WHU and a Spurs XI to play now before the season kicks off, he really does need to net in at least one of these games to have any confidence whatsoever

i know what your saying mate but walters and edwards played alongside him tonight and didnt score and none of our big players scored against leiston last nite so dosnt look good but a couple of goals and a bit of confidence might make all the difference

I agree , he was sent to QPR on loan to build his confidence & maybe to get a few goals ,i think it is safe to say his loan was not a successful one.
