Town boss Roy Keane has said he is delighted with striker Tamas Priskin despite the Hungarian internationals failure to find the target in pre-season to date.
Speaking to the EADT, Keane said: "I'm delighted with Tamas. He's come back after his summer's break with a new lease of life and he'll be given his chance.
"His general play against Bury Town was good and so was his link-up play. Setting up chances is part of a good striker's game.
"He had more shots than anyone, and I'd rather talk about missing chances than not getting chances. I'm confident the goals will come for Tamas."
Priskin has failed to settle in to Portman Road since joining from Watford last summer in a multi-million pound move and last year managed to score just two goals in 19 games for Town. The player went out on loan to QPR at the end of the season but scored just once in 13 games for the Hoops.
I had hoped that Keane could have learnt from the blunders of last season's horror show, but obviously not. All our best players have gone or are going and Keane's obsession with Priskin continues. If Town stay up again it will be a miracle.
